Adani Enterprises shares rose up to 15% to the day's high of Rs2,133.90 on the BSE before paring some of the gains later in the afternoon session.
Investors were relieved on Monday when the conglomerate's promoters announced that they had prepaid $1.1 billion in loans due to mature in September 2024 in three key companies: Adani Green Energy, Adani Ports, and Adani Transmission.
Adani Ports was up around 9% despite reporting a 16% drop in consolidated net profit at Rs1,315 crore and a 17% increase in revenues in the December quarter. The Adani Wilmar was up 5% in the upper circuit limit of Rs419.35.
Adani Transmission was trading 5% higher throughout the day with an intraday high of Rs1,314.25 on BSE. Adani Power and NDTV also extended up to 5% side during today’s intraday session.
However, Adani Green and Adani Total Gas were the only stocks that were trading under pressure, with about a 5% decline.
