Airtel unveils multi-media campaign to promote 5G Plus

17 Mar 2023 , 02:52 PM

Airtel, one of India's leading telecommunications companies, has launched a comprehensive multimedia campaign to promote its advanced 5G services, known as Airtel 5G Plus.

The campaign, which includes digital, television, and out-of-home channels, aims to showcase the unique features and benefits of Airtel's cutting-edge telecom services.

Designed by DDB Mudra, this is the first significant advertising initiative by a telecom operator for 5G services since the October 2022 rollout by Airtel and Reliance Jio. The campaign will be released in 12 different languages to reach a wide range of audiences, further cementing Airtel's position as a dominant player in the Indian telecommunications market.

At the core of the campaign is a young woman who experiences the benefits of Airtel's 5G services. Upon accessing the service on her mobile phone, she is enveloped by a red wave, symbolizing the airwaves, which takes her on an enchanting journey to explore the various features of Airtel 5G Plus.

In addition to the multimedia campaign, Airtel plans to create various touchpoints for customer engagement through digital channels. This strategy aims to provide a seamless purchase journey for its customers, ensuring they receive the support they need to adopt the advanced 5G services.

Airtel will also host 5G demo centers at its stores for the next year, providing customers with the opportunity to experience the service firsthand. With approximately 1200 stores across the country, Airtel is well-positioned to deliver these demonstrations to customers in every corner of India.
