Indian Oil Corporation will be signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) LanzaJet to produce sustainable aviation fuel at its Panipat refinery in Punjab, said chairman to Reuters on Monday.
Before this, company has also tie up with LanzaTech for converting waste gas to ethanol, and U.S.-based LanzaJet will be helping in upgrading ethanol to jet fuel.
So as per the report of Reuters, Chairman S. M. Vaidya said that by 2030, 2% of aviation fuel will be sustainable aviation fuel.
