Sameer Batra appointed President, Domino’s India

Jubilant FoodWorks Limited has informed that Sameer Batra has joined the company as President and Chief Business Officer – Domino’s India with effect from March 9, 2023.

He will be responsible for guiding Domino's Pizza India into its next phase of growth, which will be based on best-in-class Customer Experience, Operational Excellence, Same Store Growth, and Store Expansion.

Batra has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Pune and a Master of Business Administration from the Goa Institute of Management. He has over 22 years of rich experience in building consumer businesses with a special focus on Pricing, Large scale P&L Management, leading and building teams, and, most recently, running Digital businesses.

Prior to joining the Company, he was the Director of Prime Video's Marketplace and Business Expansion at Amazon. During his time at Amazon, he and his team developed strategic alliances for Amazon's consumer offerings such as Amazon Prime, Prime Video, and Audible/Kindle in India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

In his latest role with Amazon Prime Video, he spearheaded the development of new business growth areas and oversaw product management and customer experience for Marketplace offerings.

Between 2006 and 2009, he was employed by Bharti Airtel Limited. During his tenure, he was a member of Bharti Airtel's leadership team as Circle CEO for Mobility, Enterprise, and DTH business and India CEO for Broadband Home Business.

At around 11.21 AM, Jubilant FoodWorks was trading 0.86% lower at Rs456.90, against the previous close of Rs460.60 on NSE.
