Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting firm, has announced the release of The Industrial Metaverse: A Game Changer for Business, a global study of 550 CXOs from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
The study surveyed senior business leaders to learn their perspectives on how the Metaverse will impact their organizations, and the results revealed that the Metaverse will have a transformative impact on business. Secondly, companies in the United States are the earliest adopters of Metaverse technology.
The study also highlighted that the implementation of the Metaverse has revealed a number of challenges, including cybersecurity, compliance, and hiring. It is being used by metaverse leaders to reach out to new customers.
The Metaverse, according to the majority of respondents (63%), will be a game changer that will transform many aspects of their businesses. The main advantages include improving business activity by making it more immersive, stimulating greater innovation, and shortening the time to market.
78% of all respondents said the Metaverse would enable them to create new business models, and 56% see increased customer satisfaction and retention as a key benefit over the next two years.
Firms in the United States (19%) are most likely to adopt. 13% companies in the United Kingdom and 12% in Germany are trailing. However, German firms will outperform US and UK firms over the next two years.
According to the survey, it is not a question of if, but when the Metaverse will transform business. A small group of leaders is leading the way and preparing to use the Metaverse’s power to transform almost every aspect of their organization, including customer experience, internal operations, innovation, employee retention, and business growth. These organizations are stealing a march on those who are lagging by taking the lead, said Wipro.
