DLF to unveil housing project in Gurugram with sale potential of Rs7,500 crore

DLF Limited, a real estate conglomerate, plans to launch a luxury housing project in Gurugram next month, with an estimated sales revenue of around Rs7,500 crore, in order to capitalize on the strong demand for high-end apartments. 

DLF Group Executive Director and Chief Business Officer Aakash Ohri stated that the company intends to build around 1,100 apartments in this residential project.

DLF, the country's largest real estate firm by market capitalization, increased sales bookings by 45% to Rs6,599 crore in the April-December fiscal period and is on track to meet its annual sales guidance of Rs8,000 crore.

This fiscal, DLF has launched residential projects in Delhi, Gurugram, Panchkula, and Chennai.

DLF recorded one of the highest quarterly new sales bookings of Rs2,507 crore during the October-December period, representing a 24% year-on-year increase.

DLF reported a 37% yoy increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs519.21 crore for the quarter ended December 2022 on Wednesday. In the previous fiscal year, its net profit was Rs379.48 crore.

DLF operates in two segments: development and rental.
