In Bengaluru, Piramal Finance launches an innovation lab

On Thursday, Piramal Enterprises Ltd (‘PEL’),  announced the opening of its Bengaluru “Innovation Lab,” where it hopes to have a team of over 300 professionals working in various tech and business intelligence positions by the end of the fiscal year 2022—23.

Jairam Sridharan, MD of Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Ltd., stated that the innovation center in this city is a key component of Piramal Finance’s expansion plan. Piramal Finance is rapidly extending its footprint in Tier II and III cities of “Bharat.” In five years, Piramal Finance, which currently has 343 offices, stated it will grow to between 500 and 600 branches across the “Bharat markets.”
