Badri Srinivasan to lead Wipro’s India business

31 Mar 2023 , 01:46 PM

On Thursday, Wipro announced that Badri Srinivasan, the company's Managing Director for Southeast Asia, would take on the additional responsibility of leading its India business.

Satya Easwaran, who had taken on the role of leading Wipro's India business last April, will be replaced by Badri Srinivasan. Wipro is the fourth-largest software exporter in India in terms of revenue.

According to a statement by Wipro, Badri Srinivasan has been assigned the responsibility of leading the India and Southeast Asia businesses within the company's APMEA Strategic Market Unit. The company also stated that Satya Easwaran, who served as the country head for India, has opted to explore opportunities outside of the organization.

According to the company, Badri Srinivasan, who became Wipro's Managing Director of Southeast Asia in January 2022, was instrumental in consolidating transformational engagements with clients.

Wipro's global leadership team includes Badri Srinivasan, who also serves on the boards of the company's strategic subsidiaries and acquired entities in Asia, such as Capco, Rizing, and Designit.
