The new joint venture, called ElectroForge, will use the capabilities of both partners to produce best-in-class drivetrains for the Class 3 through 8 sectors, offering higher efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The collaboration will properly blend Harbinger’s seasoned EV team’s forward-thinking innovation with Bharat Forge’s extensive product knowledge and scalability.
ElectroForge will begin operations in Pune, India, using cutting-edge technology to offer high-power, low-mass drivetrains with a revolutionary new architecture designed primarily for commercial vehicles’ durability and performance needs.
The joint venture will be Harbinger’s volume manufacturer of electric powertrains, using KPTL’s worldwide manufacturing experience in India, Europe, and North America would be used.
