Infosys has unveiled plans for a new Proximity Centre in Oslo, Norway, as a strategic move to further expand its presence in the Nordics.
This cutting-edge facility will serve as a hub to attract, train, and enhance the skills of local talent, enabling them to collaborate on international projects involving innovative technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, and software engineering.
Through the establishment of the Oslo proximity centre, Infosys will have the opportunity to foster closer collaboration and partnerships with its regional clients, including Telenor (a leading global telecommunications company) and DNB ASA (Norway’s largest bank).
By working closely with these organizations, Infosys aims to contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge solutions, thereby supporting their digital transformation endeavors.
In recent years, Infosys has made substantial investments and expanded its presence in the Nordic region through various initiatives. These include establishing new partnerships, such as the one with the Lefdal Mine Datacenter in Norway, strategic acquisitions like Fluido in Finland and BASE Life Science in Denmark, as well as the establishment of a new proximity center in Gothenburg, Sweden.
