Ruchira Papers board recommends 1:10 bonus issue; Stock dips 1%

The board of directors of Ruchira Papers Ltd at its meeting held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, has considered and approved the issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:10 i.e., 1(One) new fully paid-up equity share of Rs10/- each to be issued for every 10 (Ten) equity shares held, subject to approval of shareholders of the Company at ensuing AGM.
As per the filing, the Board has fixed Monday, October 10, 2022, as record date for the purpose of determining the members entitle to receive bonus shares provided, if the bonus as recommended by the board of directors is approved at the AGM.
The Pre-bonus paid up share capital is Rs27,13,18,040 divided into 2,71,31,804 shares of Rs10. The Post bonus paid up share capital will be Rs29,84,49,850 divided into 2,98,44,985 shares of Rs10 each, the company said in a filing.

At around 1:35 PM, Ruchira Papers Ltd is currently trading at Rs145.55 per share down by Rs1.4 or 0.95% from its previous closing of Rs146.95 per share on the BSE.
