TCS, Jaguar Land Rover to launch open innovation program in Israel

23 May 2023 , 12:01 PM

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have unveiled the launch of JLR's Open Innovation program in Tel Aviv. This initiative aims to facilitate breakthrough innovations in the field of mobility while fostering closer ties between JLR and Israeli start-ups, scale-ups, corporate organizations, investors, and academic institutions.

The program aligns with JLR's Reimagine strategy, which focuses on driving transformation and growth within the automotive industry.

For over ten years, TCS has been a trusted partner of JLR, playing a vital role in driving key transformation initiatives throughout JLR's value chain, such as sustainability and digital services, and contributing to their success.

This recent collaboration will further extend JLR's Open Innovation program to Israel, reinforcing its commitment to the Reimagine strategy and expediting the realization of JLR's vision for an electric-first modern luxury future.

By utilizing TCS' Co-Innovation Network (COIN) in Israel, the program will harness local technology solutions and amplify their impact by transforming them into global mobility solutions and services.

It will explore various domains, including electrification, connectivity, digital services, metaverse, intelligent enterprise, manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainability, in order to identify potential opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
