UTI Silver ETF Fund of Fund NFO: Key details you need to know

UTI Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “fund of fund category”, named as UTI Silver ETF Fund of Fund. This open-ended fund of fund seeks to generate returns that commensurate with the performance of physical silver in domestic prices.

Investment strategy: The investment objective of the scheme is to seek to provide returns that correspond to returns provided by UTI Silver ETF by investing in units of UTI Silver ETF. Accordingly, the Scheme may buy/sell the units of UTI Silver ETF either directly with the Fund or through the secondary market on the Stock Exchange(s). 

Asset allocation: The scheme will invest in units of UTI Silver ETF.

Who should invest?

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 7 to 10 years in a mutual fund should invest in UTI Silver ETF FOF. 

Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

Benchmark: Domestic Price of Silver (based on LBMA Silver daily spot fixing price).

Fund Managers: Mr. Sharwan Kumar Goyal and Mr. Ayush Jain.

The NFO is available for subscription from April 10 to April 19. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
