India’s largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp, on Tuesday, May 13, announced its quarter ended March 2025 results. Hero reported net profit year-on-year higher by 6.4% at ₹1,081 crore. Total revenue for the quarter was ₹9,939 crore, up 4.4% from ₹9,519 crore of the same period last year.
Hero MotoCorp’s Q4 FY24 EBITDA was 4.4% higher year-over-year at ₹1,417.7 crore. The company had reported an EBITDA of ₹1,359 crore during the same period last year. EBITDA margin was at 14.26%, versus 14.30% last year.
Hero MotoCorp Board of Directors decided to pay a final dividend of ₹65 per equity share of face value ₹2 each for the fiscal year FY25. On receipt of approval, the dividend shall be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration in the AGM.
Executive Director and acting CEO Vikram S. Kasbekar has mentioned that the company registered record annual revenue and profit and was the biggest among the two-wheelers for the 24th year in succession. He further added that growth in the 125cc space, consistent performance in the core business, and an upcoming electric vehicle (EV) launch will likely drive long-term business momentum.
Chief Financial Officer Vivek Anand presented an upbeat perspective in the near-to-mid-term, attributing the same to macroeconomic measures like altered income tax slabs, reductions in repo rates, a revival of the rural economy, and favorable monsoon forecast as positive industry growth factors.
