Bayer Cropscience zooms ~13% on strong Q4 numbers

Bayer Cropscience Limited shares surged as much as 13% in today’s trade after the company posted a robust performance during the quarter ended March 2025.

The counter touched an intraday high of ₹5,802 per piece.

At around 12.35 PM, Bayer Cropscience was trading 11.29% higher at ₹5,709.90, against the previous close of ₹5,130.48 on NSE.

The business posted a 49% year-on-year growth in its net for the period under review. In FY25, it reported a net profit of ₹143.30 Crore as compared to ₹96 Crore in the previous corresponding period.

The business also said that the board of directors recommended a dividend of ₹35 per share. However, the company has not yet disclosed the details regarding the record and payout date.

Furthermore, the company announced that the revenue from operations for the period under review stood at ₹1,046.40 Crore. In the previous corresponding period, the business posted a revenue of ₹792.30 Crore. 

For FY 2024-25, Bayer CrosScience said that revenue stood at ₹5,473.40 Crore. In the previous comparable period, the business posted a revenue of ₹5,106.20 Crore. This reflects a 7% y-o-y growth against the previous period.
