CRISIL Ltd reported a 12.9% YoY rise in net profit to ₹171.6 Crore for the third quarter ending September 30, 2024.
In the preceding fiscal quarter, Crisil reported a net profit of ₹152 Crore, according to a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations increased by 10.3% to ₹811.8 Crore, up from ₹735.9 Crore in the previous fiscal year.
In the third quarter of this fiscal year, EBITDA climbed by 16.7% to ₹223.8 Crore, up from ₹191.7 Crore in the same period last year.
The EBITDA margin was 27.6% in the reporting quarter, up from 26.1% in the same period last fiscal year.
Total income increased by 5.0% to ₹2,407.4 Crore, from ₹2,292.9 Crore in the same period last year. Profit before tax climbed by 7.3% to ₹632.0 Crore, up from ₹588.9 Crore in the same period last year.
CRISIL’s income from operations for the nine months ended September 30, 2024, climbed 5.6% to ₹2,346.9 Crore, compared to ₹2,221.8 Crore in the same period last year.
The company also reported that the board of directors declared an interim dividend of ₹15 per share (of ₹1 face value) in the current quarter for the financial year ending December 31, 2024, compared to ₹11 per share paid in the same quarter last year.
In Q3 2024, the impact of foreign exchange movement was negative when compared to the same quarter last year.
