HFCL Ltd., a telecommunications and military solutions provider, has established a strategic relationship with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Incorporated (GA-ASI), according to an exchange filing on Sunday.
According to the filing, the company has been asked to design and provide crucial subsystems for GA-ASI’s sophisticated unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
HFCL has now made a significant contribution to one of the world’s most sophisticated unmanned aerial vehicles.
HFCL is creating a crucial radar subsystem for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This important payload component is compact and lightweight, and it meets the highest environmental and MIL-STD standards, according to the manufacturer.
Raddef, HFCL’s subsidiary, is developing advanced radar and RF technologies, as well as a cutting-edge drone detecting radar.
HFCL’s current R&D activities include ground surveillance radars, weather radars, threat emulators, and passive radars, among others.
Our collaboration with General Atomics strengthens HFCL’s standing as a reliable partner in the global defence environment and demonstrates our commitment to assisting India’s defence modernisation initiatives, according to HFCL Managing Director Mahendra Nahata.
At around 10.30 AM, HFCL was trading 2.25% higher at ₹165.45, against the previous close of ₹161.81 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of ₹171, and ₹164.55, respectively.
