Suzuki Motorcycle, a Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, reported on Tuesday that its October 2024 vehicle sales in India increased 19% year over year to 1,20,055 units.
“Reaching this sales record is an important milestone for all of us at Suzuki,” stated Kenichi Meda, Suzuki Motorcycle India’s managing director.
In October of last year, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMPIL) said that it had sold 1,00,507 vehicles.
According to the firm, domestic sales last month reached a record-breaking 1,04,940 vehicles, up 24% year-over-year from 84,302 units in October 2023.
Exports decreased 7% to 15,115 units in October 2024, according to the company, from 16,205 units in the same month the previous year, according to SMIPL.
