Wipro Ltd, an IT services company, announced a strategic alliance with Microsoft and SAP on Wednesday (October 30) to speed up RISE with SAP migrations to the Microsoft cloud at almost no cost to clients.
The collaboration enables clients to use SAP’s enterprise resource planning capabilities on Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure, while Wipro provides best practices, strategic direction, and a transition roadmap.
The project intends to give organisations a seamless migration experience, improving digital processes and overall productivity while increasing consumer engagement.
Financial incentives included in the partnership reduce the migration cost to near-zero levels, making it an affordable step for organisations aiming to transform into intelligent enterprises using SAP’s advanced solutions.
Wipro, Microsoft, and SAP intend to use this cooperation to help clients realise the benefits of RISE with SAP while lowering traditional cost barriers.
As SAP develops its support strategy for certain on-premises systems beyond 2027, organisations are advised to migrate from SAP S/4HANA to SAP S/4HANA Cloud to ensure seamless business operations.
This collaboration, which leverages Wipro’s digital transformation expertise, Microsoft’s robust cloud infrastructure, and the power of SAP’s industry-leading software and business process redesign services, will help customers achieve seamless migrations, ensuring continued excellence and innovation in business processes.
At around 1.00 PM, Wipro was trading 2.43% lower at ₹551.50, against the previous close of ₹565.25 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of ₹566.30, and ₹548.30, respectively.
