Adani Green-led arm commissions 325 MW wind power plant in MP; stock jumps ~2%

19 Sept 2022 , 02:29 PM

Adani Wind Energy MP One Private Ltd (AWEMP1PL), a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has commissioned a 324.4 MW wind power plant near Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

SECI has signed two 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the plant for 274.4 MW and 50 MW, respectively, at Rs. 2.83/kWh.

With the successful commissioning of this facility, Adani Green’s operational generating capacity has climbed to 6.1 GW. AGEL’s overall renewable portfolio of 20.4 GW now puts it on track to meet its objective of 25 GW capacity by 2025.

The company stated that this newly commissioned plant will be managed by the Adani Group’s intelligent ‘Energy Network Operation Centre’ platform, which has demonstrated technological capability and has assisted AGEL in achieving superior operational performance across its entire renewable portfolio spread across various locations in India.

At around 2.27 PM, Adani Green Energy was trading at Rs2,354 per piece, up by 1.67% from its previous closing of Rs2,315.30 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs2,366.90 and Rs2,292.30 respectively.
