CFO Aravind Maiya steps down from Embassy REITs; stock marginally down

In its meeting held today, Embassy Office Parks REIT Limited has accepted the resignation of Mr. Aravind Maiya, Chief Financial Officer of Manager to Embassy REIT, effective from the close of business on May 31, 2022. Aravind plans to pursue other professional opportunities outside of REIT.

The Members of the Board have placed on record their sincere appreciation for the contributions made by Mr. Maiya as the Chief Financial Officer and as one of the key managerial personnel of the Company.

The company has also approved the appointment of Mr. Abhishek Agrawal, currently Deputy Chief Financial Officer to act as interim Chief Financial Officer of the Manager effective from June 1, 2022.

Mr. Abhishek Agrawal is currently working as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Company and has been associated with Embassy REIT since August 2020. He has handled the function of the finance controller which included financial reporting, risk management, and internal controls, budgeting and management reporting, compliance, business finance activities, fundraises, and valuations.

Embassy Office Parks REIT is currently trading at Rs375.10 down by Rs2.34 or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs377.44 on the BSE.
