On Monday, shares of Easy Trip Planners, the company behind the online travel platform EaseMyTrip, surged by 8.5% to reach Rs 47 on the NSE. The increase in stock price followed the company’s announcement on Friday about its collaboration with the World Padel League (WPL) for the year 2023.
According to a company filing, the partnership between EaseMyTrip and WPL offers all-encompassing travel solutions to players, officials, and fans who will be attending the highly anticipated World Padel League. Notably, a significant aspect of this collaboration is the prominent branding exposure that EaseMyTrip will have during the tournament.
Rikant Pittie, Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, expressed that this collaboration will enable the company to engage with a broader audience of sports enthusiasts. Pittie stated that EaseMyTrip has been actively involved in sports marketing and aims to provide full support not only for this tournament but also for future events.
At around 2.25 PM, EaseMyTrip was trading 3.36% higher at Rs 46.80, against the previous close of Rs 43.10 on NSE.
