Godrej Consumer may acquire Raymond’s FMCG business

Godrej Consumer, the FMCG giant is all set to enter in the deal with Raymond to buy Raymond’s FMCG arm. As per various reports, it will be a all-cash deal for Rs 1,000-1,200 crore .

The companies have not yet made any formal announcement, but will make it public soon.

Raymond Consumer Care operates in personal care, sexual wellness and home care categories with brands like Park Avenue, Kamasutra & KS Spark.

Raymond is looking to sell its FMCG arm from past 2-3 years. Earlier it was in talks with Good Glamm for a deal worth nearly Rs 2,500 crore in 2022, but talks did not materialise due to valuation issues.

GCPL is currently present in hair care, home care & personal care categories.
