HSBC Multi Cap Fund NFO: All you need to know

HSBC Mutual Fund is launching new fund offer (NFO) under its “equity category”, named as HSBC Multi Cap Fund. The open-ended fund will invests in the equity shares of the large cap, mid cap and small cap companies.

Investment Strategy: The scheme aims to generate wealth over long-term by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities across market capitalization. 

Asset allocation: The market capitalization allocation of assets will be minimum 25% each in small, mid and large cap stocks as per SEBI guidelines at all points of time. The Scheme may invest in units of REITs and InvITs for diversification and subject to necessary stipulations by SEBI from time to time.

Who should invest?

Investors with high-risk appetite should invest in the scheme for the long-term of at least 5 years. Those who want to create wealth over long-term by investing across market segment.

Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

Benchmark: NIFTY 500 Multicap 50:25:25 TRI

Fund Managers: Mr Venugopal Manghat, Ms Sonal Gupta and Mr Kapil Punjabi.

The NFO is available for subscription from January 10-24 and re-open for continuous sale and repurchase from February 03. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
