KEC International wins new projects worth Rs 1,005 crore

KEC International announced new projects worth Rs 1,005 crore across its different business verticals, including railroads and cables, on Tuesday.

The RPG Group company has won distribution, transmission, and cabling contracts in the domestic market as well as throughout the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

It has secured an order for 25 kV overhead electrification (OHE) and associated works in the conventional segment in India, according to a regulatory filing by the company.

We are very excited about the railway order, which further consolidates our order book in the conventional railway segment. Our YTD (Year to Date) order intake now stands at Rs 10,000 crore, stated KEC International Ltd’s MD & CEO Vimal Kejriwal.

The company has bagged orders for the delivery of numerous types of cables both domestically and internationally.

KEC International is a multinational engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm. It is present in industries such as railways, civil and municipal infrastructure, and cables.

At around 10.19 AM, KEC International was trading 1.44% higher at Rs 604.30, against the previous close of Rs 595.75 on NSE.
