The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has banned trading on nine stocks in the futures and options (F&O) segment on Monday, May 27, 2024, due to exceeding 95% of the market-wide position limit (MWPL). These stocks remain available for trading in the cash market.
The NSE updates the F&O ban list daily.

The derivative contracts of these securities have crossed 95% of the MWPL, leading to the ban. During the ban period, traders can only reduce their positions in these derivative contracts through offsetting trades.
Any increase in open positions during the ban will result in penalties and disciplinary action. No new positions are allowed in F&O contracts for the banned stocks during the ban period.
