Top 10 stocks for today – 10th September, 2024

Here are some of the stocks that may see significant price movement today.

PNB Housing Finance: The Punjab National Bank-backed firm said that its board of directors has approved the issue of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) worth up to ₹2,500 Crore. The decision was made at the Board meeting. The NCDs will be issued in numerous tranches via private placement over the next six months.

GMR Airports Infrastructure: The company announced that it entered into a share purchase agreement (SPA) with Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide to acquire the latter’s 10% equity position in Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL). The acquisition will be done for a negotiated total of $126 million.

HG Infra Engineering: The business received a ₹781.11 Crore contract from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways for upgrading NH 47. The project entails improving an existing six-lane road, including an elevated corridor, between Narol junction and Sarkhej junction on National Highway 47 in Gujarat.

Infosys: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has reversed limitations imposed on Infosys workers and related businesses, dismissing claims of insider trading that prompted the original orders in 2021. SEBI annulled the instructions granted through an interim order and a confirmatory order, which had previously restricted the parties concerned.

Premier Energies: According to the solar cell business, the Uttar Pradesh Department of Agriculture has ordered 8,085 solar water pumping systems to be supplied, installed, and commissioned across the state’s districts. The ₹215 Crore project includes a five-year warranty and is expected to be completed by March 2025.

Dixon Technologies: The leading contract manufacturer announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Padget Electronics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HP India Sales. Under this deal, Padget will produce notebooks, desktops, and all-in-one PCs for HP, subject to the execution of definitive agreements in due course.

IRB Infrastructure: In August 2024, the firm announced a 20% increase in toll collection over the previous year. The company’s overall toll income for the month was ₹503 Crore, up from ₹417 Crore in August 2023. This is the second straight month of excellent increase in Q2 FY25, demonstrating the company’s sustained success in toll collecting.

Tata Power: TP Solar Ltd, a Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd subsidiary, announced that commercial production of its 2GW solar cell line has begun at the company’s cutting-edge manufacturing plant in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. This facility, with a total capacity of 4.3 GW, is India’s largest single-location solar cell and module production.

Bank of Baroda: The state-owned bank raised ₹5,000 Crore through a 10-year infrastructure bond sale, which was subscribed by domestic investors. This is the lender’s second offering in a fortnight, following the ₹5,000 Crore sale on August 26, and comes amid a flood of similar issuances.

Religare Enterprises: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a charge against Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson, Nitin Aggarwal, Group CFO, and Nishant Singhal, Group General Counsel, alleging their involvement in a bogus case against the Dabur group’s Burman family.
