Here are some of the stocks that may see significant price movement today.

Life Insurance Corporation of India: The government has approved the insurance company’s salary adjustment, which will take effect on August 1, 2022. The government has approved a 17% rise in LIC’s wages.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals: The business was granted a patent for their innovation, the linear node tubular lighting system. This patent has been formally awarded for 20 years, beginning August 14, 2020. Additionally, Sachin Phartiyal has resigned as the business unit leader of the home electricals section for personal and professional reasons. He will be relieved of his duties effective April 9. Rajat Chopra, presently the business unit leader of the pumps division, will take over as the business unit head of the home electrical sector beginning April 10.

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail: The business has received observation letters from the BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India about the Scheme of Amalgamation between the company and TCNS Clothing firm. The stock exchanges have issued ‘no adverse objection’ and ‘no objection’ statements on the programme. The National Company Law Tribunal must approve the programme for it to be effective.

Lupin: The US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) investigated Lupin’s manufacturing plant in Aurangabad from March 6 to March 15. The inspection concluded with the issue of a Form 483 with one observation. The firm is confident in its ability to meet the USFDA’s concerns and will settle them as soon as possible.

Zydus Lifesciences: The pharmaceutical business has got final USFDA permission to commercialise Finasteride and Tadalafil capsules in the USP 5 mg/5 mg strength. Zydus is the first authorised application for Finasteride and Tadalafil capsules, and so qualifies for 180 days of CGT exclusivity. Finasteride and Tadalafil are used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Ircon International: The company has received a Letter of Award from the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) for the construction of a 2.5-kilometer twin-tube uni-directional Aizawl bypass tunnel and 2.1-kilometer approaches on the Sairang-Phaiawk section of the NH-6 in Mizoram in EPC mode at a quoted bid price of ₹630.66 Crore.

SJVN: SJVN Green Energy (SGEL) has secured a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) for a 200-MW solar project in GUVNL Phase XXIII. The estimated cost of building and development for this project is ₹1,100 Crore.

JSW Energy: JSW Neo Energy has won a Letter of Award (LoA) for an extra 500 MW of wind capacity as part of the SECI wind power projects’ greenshoe option (Tranche XVI). As a result, JSW Neo now has 1,000 MW of cumulative capacity under SECI Tranche XVI.

RailTel Corporation of India: The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has issued a work order to the business for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of HMIS (health management information system) for the BMC Health Department, totaling ₹351.95 Crore. In addition, the business acquired a work order of ₹130.6 Crore from the State Project Director (Spd) of the Bihar Education Project Council.

Dr Lal PathLabs: The firm stated that the board of directors accepted Shankha Banerjee’s re-designation as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and key managerial people (KMP) effective May 21, 2024.
