JM Financial Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “Equity Fund”, named as JM Small Cap Fund. The open ended fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities of small cap companies, as defined by SEBI.
Investment strategy: The Scheme will focus on bottom up approach to find stocks with high growth potential. Companies whose Market capitalization falls below the market capitalization of Top 250 companies are classified as small cap companies as per current SEBI classification norms.
Asset allocation: The Scheme will invest predominantly in equity scheme that invests in small cap companies based on market capitalisation.

Investors with a very high-risk appetite who want to invest in special situations should invest in the JM Small Cap Fund for 7 or more years.

The NFO is available for subscription from May 27 to June 10. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is ₹5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
