Adani Green is guiding India’s energy transition by targeting 50 GW capacity by financial year 2030, as compared to existing 12 MW.
The minimum agreed tariff to supply power is ₹2.57 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), which is expected to be a competitive tariff in the renewable energy sector.
The project was carried out by Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Ltd, a 100% step-down subsidiary of AGEL.
The regulatory decision to commission the plant from March 8, 2025, was finalized on March 11, 2025, at 6:18 p.m., after securing necessary approvals.
The LOA has been issued for procuring 1,250 MW of energy storage capacity from Pumped Hydro Storage Projects.
So far, the firm had invested about $5 million on pre-development work for a 484 MW wind farm in Mannar and Pooneryn and on the development of Sri Lanka’s 220 KV and 400 KV transmission network.
The undertaking was by its subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Ltd, under the umbrella of AGEL as part of a wider wind-solar hybrid initiative.
Adani Ports gained 2%, trading at Rs 1,151, while Adani Energy Solutions increased 6.6%, reaching a day's high of Rs 833.00.
The company added that the project was developed by the company’s step-down subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight.
