Dilip Buildcon Ltd reported a 263.25% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to ₹265.9 Crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2024.
Dilip Buildcon recorded an exceptional gain of ₹158.4 Crore in the second quarter, up from ₹89.3 Crore in the same time the previous fiscal year.
In the preceding fiscal quarter, Dilip Buildcon reported a net profit of ₹73.2 Crore, according to a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations decreased 13.6% to ₹2,461.3 Crore, compared to ₹2,848.7 Crore in the previous fiscal year.
EBITDA increased by 46.7% to ₹499.8 Crore in the second quarter of this fiscal year, up from ₹340.6 Crore in the same period last year. The EBITDA margin was 20.3% in the reporting quarter, up from 12% in the same period last fiscal year.
As of September 30, 2024, the net order book stands at ₹17,355.4 Crore. Roads and highways projects account for 27.43% of the order book, followed by irrigation (21.14%), mining (20.49%), metro (4.24%), water supply (10.84%), tunnel (12.24%), and special bridge and urban development (3.61%).
Despite EPC challenges, we delivered our best quarterly PAT of nearly ₹250 Crore on a consolidated basis. Going forward, as a large number of orders are expected in all of company’s operating divisions, the company will accelerate our growth strategy.
