Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) announced a 39.7% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to ₹125.6 Crore for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024.
In the preceding fiscal quarter, Kalpataru Projects International reported a net profit of ₹90 Crore, according to a regulatory filing.
Revenue from operations climbed by 9.1% to ₹4,930 Crore from ₹4,518.4 Crore in Q2 of the previous fiscal, driven by strong execution and a large order backlog.
EBITDA increased by 83.8% to ₹438.3 Crore in the second quarter of this fiscal year, up from ₹238.4 Crore the previous year. The EBITDA margin was 8.9% in the reporting quarter, up from 5.3% in the same period last fiscal year.
Kalpataru Projects received fresh orders worth ₹835 Crore, including contributions from its worldwide operations. YTD in FY25, total order inflows totalled ₹11,865 Crore, with an extra L1 position of nearly ₹7,000 Crore.
Kalpataru’s consolidated order book reached ₹60,631 Crore on September 30, 2024, a 29% increase from the previous year. The company has experienced strong order inflow momentum, notably in the transmission and distribution (T&D) and buildings and factories (B&F) segments, indicating solid demand and prospects for expansion throughout its key industries.
Kalpataru agreed to sell Vindyachal Motorway for ₹775 Crore. The transaction is projected to finalise in FY26, pending regulatory approvals and final closing adjustments.
