BharatPe ropes in SBI Card's Nalin Negi as CFO

In preparation for its initial public offering(IPO), Fintech platform BharatPe announced onWednesday that they have appointed former SBI Card CFO Nalin Negi as their new Chief Financial Officer(CFO).

Nalin Negi has led several significant strategic initiatives during his prior employment years, including the SBI Card IPO in March 2020. Additionally, he has worked at ITC, Nestle India, EXL Service, American Express (India), and Nestle.

In his newfound position, Negi will be in complete control of New Delhi-based BharatPe’s financial operations and seek to get the business operating at a profit by March 2023.

“BharatPe has had a meteoric rise. The business plans to achieve firm profitability, go public and get established as India’s first entirely digital bank over the course of the next two years, which “will be thrilling,’’ according to Nalin Negi.
