Dhunseri Tea -; Industries takes over Balijan North Tea Estate in Assam; Stock climbs over 3%

Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited has entered into an Agreement for Sale with Warren Tea Limited and the possession of the aforesaid Tea Estate has been taken over.

The company had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on December 16, 2021, with Warren Tea Limited, for the acquisition of Balijan North Tea Estate admeasuring a grant area of 1159.64 hectares located at Post Chabua, District Dibrugarh Assam. The acquisition price was Rs23cr.

At around 2.18 pm, the company stock was trading at Rs315.95 per piece up Rs9.90 or 3.23% on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs324.75 per piece during intraday trade on Thursday.
