Kartik Jain appointed as new MD & CEO of Shriram AMC

Shriram Asset Management Company Ltd.’s board of directors has approved the appointment of Kartik Jain as its new MD and CEO on Monday. The appointment is subject to approval by regulators and shareholders.

Shriram AMC is a subsidiary of the Shriram Group, a financial conglomerate with assets worth over Rs 2.25 lakh crore. 

The appointment of Jain as MD and CEO will reorient the brand’s customer strategy and improve operational efficiency. Jain previously led Product, Platforms, and Digibank at DBS Bank India’s Consumer Business Group in Mumbai.

He has also worked as the CMO of HDFC Bank and as the head of marketing and eChannel at ICICI Lombard General Insurance. Jain advised clients in the UK and Europe on eBusiness strategy and process re-engineering while at KPMG.

Jain has extensive experience in sales and distribution, marketing, product management, analytics, strategy, wealth management, and digital business in the BFSI, Consulting, and Consumer Goods industries.
