Reliance and SBI Card launch a credit card with a lifestyle concept

1 Nov 2023 , 11:26 AM

Reliance Retail and SBI Card have partnered to introduce the Reliance SBI Card credit card, which offers incentives and perks to consumers who purchase at its retail locations. The announcement was made by the firm on Tuesday.

Using the Reliance SBI Card while shopping at Reliance Retail’s fashion & lifestyle, food, consumer electronics, pharmacy, furniture, and jewellery departments, among other stores, can earn customers incentives and bonuses. The card has been offered on the RuPay network and is composed of recycled plastic, according to the company’s announcement.

At Reliance Retail, we’re constantly thinking of new methods to make our customers’ daily shopping experiences more pleasurable. An additional step towards this commitment is our co-branded credit card with SBI Card. V Subramaniam, Director, Reliance Retail Limited, stated, ‘We are thrilled to collaborate with SBI Card, a pioneer in the card business, to provide Reliance SBI Card with an extensive array of benefits, special discounts, and rewards for shopping with us online and at all our stores.’

Users of the co-branded credit card can also continuously take use of SBI Card’s offerings. Reliance SBI Card and Reliance SBI Card PRIME are the two card versions that were introduced. The Reliance SBI Card PRIME annual renewal charge is Rs 2,999, exclusive of taxes, whereas the Reliance SBI Card renewal fee is Rs 499, inclusive of taxes. Customers will not be charged a renewal fee if they spend more than Rs 3 lakh with the PRIME version and Rs 1 lakh with the Reliance SBI Card.

At SBI Card, we’ve always been committed to providing our clients with high-quality goods that meet their lifestyle demands. The Reliance SBI Card is a comprehensive product that caters to a wide range of consumer demographics. With its wide range of applications, it is a strong complement to our already impressive co-brand portfolio, and we anticipate that SBI Card’s MD and CEO, Abhijit Chakravorty, will see this credit card grow in popularity.
