Wardwizard Innovations stock skyrockets 8% after registering sales of 3,860 units in Dec 2021

WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd – one of the country’s leading manufacturers of electric two-wheelers brand ‘Joy e-bike’ sold 3,860 units in December 2021.

Observing a rapid shift towards electric two-wheelers, the company registered a growth of 548% compared to December 2020, where sales stood at 595 units.

Noteworthy, the company has already sold more than 17,000 units (17,376) of electric scooters and motorcycles in the first three quarters of this financial year (April- December 2021), logging the growth of 570% as compared to the same period of last financial year (April-December 2020), said company on Monday.

Quarter 3 unit sales crossed 10,000 units for the first time for Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd.

Commenting on the another record breaking performance and sharing company’s future goals, Sheetal Bhalerao, Chief Operations Officer, WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd, said, “Electric two-wheelers are becoming part of a large number of households in both the urban and semi-urban cities.

For many new riders, it is becoming the first preference encouraging green mobility in the country. As there is a high demand for high-speed scooter models, the company is launching its first-ever ‘Made-in-India’ high-speed scooter models in the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

To further meet the growing market demand, the company will be continuing to strengthen its presence across the country and also making investments to facilitate the growth of the electric vehicle industry.”

At around 11:36 AM, Wardwizard Innovations was trading at Rs90.40 per piece higher by 8.13% on Sensex.
