WhiteOak Capital Special Opportunities Fund NFO: Everything you need to know

WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “Thematic Fund”, named as WhiteOak Capital Special Opportunities Fund. The open-ended fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in opportunities presented by special situations such as corporate restructuring (including mergers & acquisitions etc.), government policy and/or regulatory changes, technology-led disruption and innovation, new trends, new & emerging sectors, companies/sectors going through temporary unique challenges and other similar instances.

Investment strategy: At WhiteOak Capital AMC, the investment strategy is to invest in businesses based on stock selection and to avoid focusing on macro events. The company believes in investing in good businesses at attractive valuations. These are the two critical pillars of their investment philosophy – business and valuation.

Asset allocation: The Scheme will invest predominantly in equity & equity related instruments of special situations theme.

Investors with a very high-risk appetite and who want to invest in special situations theme should invest in the WhiteOak Capital Special Opportunities Fund for 5 or more years.

The NFO is available for subscription from May 15 to May 29. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is ₹100/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
