As part of the agreement, Dixon will acquire ₹427.99 crore worth of shares from Q Technology (Singapore) Pvt Ltd and Kunshan Q Technology International Ltd.
The collaboration will focus on manufacturing Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) modules and Thin Film Transistor LCD (TFT-LCD) modules.
According to the proposed structure, Dixon will own 74% of the joint venture, with the remaining 26% held by Chongqing Yuhai.
The new JV will be equally held by Dixon and Signify with 50% stake each. The deal does not state that either company will have ownership stakes in each other's existing businesses.
